The Ns4BRS thermal detector is a fully mechanical device.
Its construction technology make it robust and reliable, suited for industrial and harsh enviroment where electronics devices are not suitable.
Heat detector NS4BRS-IP65 are supplied and mounted with IP65 enclosure and are available with one detection criterion as follow:
NS4BRS MAX: fixed temperature detector. The detector is activated exceeding the maximum temperature .The alarm temperature is calibrated as required by customer over a range of -20÷190°C.
NS4BRS detectors are suitable for fire detection and extinguish systems.
Normally, is recommended a temperature of 30÷35°C above the maximum operating temperature of the environment .
The selection of the most appropriate categories of detectors is must be evaluated according to the characteristics of the environment.
NS4BRS detectors are common mounted in vertically position but is possible to install horizontally.
The Calibration accuracy for all models is ± 5°C.
NS4BRS detectors are available N.O and N.C.
The maximum current contact is 2,5 A at 48VDC AC-DC (resistive load).
Ns4BRS detectors are made from:
Material: Brass UNI 5705-65/Stainless steel AISI 304.
Brass version is nickel plated to protect it from corrosion.
For temperature above 150°C the body of sensor is made of stainless steel AISI 304.
Thread for both versions:
Brass ¾” GAS heat detector side.
Brass ¾” GAS enclosure side.
The detectors are mounted in a die-cast aluminium alloy enclosure with IP65 degree of protection. dimensions are 70 or 90 mm with two cable entries threaded ¾” NPT.
On request is available M20 or ½’’NPT threaded adapter.
