Description

TH-100-EN54 horn loudspeaker has been specifically designed for applications in tunnels characterized by an extremely high ambient noise and a very long reverberation time. It is built for indoor and outdoor applications, and can be installed in hostile environments. It is able to withstand corrosion, atmospheric contaminants, high levels of humidity and extreme temperatures. This speaker produces a high level of sound pressure, a very balanced frequency response and very low distortion.
TH-100-EN54 has a degree of protection IP66 and is built of ABS also resistant to high temperatures RAL 7023 (cement gray). It is also equipped with ceramic clamps and thermal fuse, as required by EN54-24. It uses a high quality 100 W driver with high performance CCAR coil.
It has been designed for a sturdy and reliable installation thanks to V5A stainless steel brackets and bolts. The stainless steel front grille has been specifically designed not to interfere with acoustic performance and at the same time avoid damage during tunnel washing operations.
TH-100-EN54 is able to spread clear and intelligible voice messages. Its construction features allow it to cover greater distances than conventional horn loudspeakers, with a consequent decrease of number of loudspeakers required.
The product is certified according to EN 54-24 and the frequency response is such that it does not require external correction elements to comply with the parameters established by the EVAC standards.
